You know you’ve planned a successful party when guests would do anything else but leave it – and this stands just as true in the case of weddings too. How to make your guests have such a great time at your wedding that they will want to stay late and join the after-party too? Here are some tips to keep in mind:

  • Keep the “official” things as short as possible. We all enjoy a funny Best Man cracking a joke during his toast and we all find it polite to be “received” in the Receiving Line. However, you should make sure to keep these things as least time-consuming as possible. Otherwise, your guests’ party mood will evaporate long before the party starts.
  • Make sure the music is really fun. Not too loud, not whispered – just perfect, both in terms of volume and in terms of style and genre. To do this, you need to make sure both your DJ’s equipment and the DJ himself are truly professional. Even more, you need to make sure the DJ will know how to read your kind of crowd and how to mix the best songs for them.
  • Feed your guests late-night snacks to boost their energy. If you want them to stay late, remember to offer them late-night snacks that are delicious and unique too. From mini-pizza to fancy treats, there’s a huge variety of options to choose from – so pick one (or two) and serve them on a plate to your (already) hungry guests!
