At the Fleur de Lis Event Center we provide an inspired menu of dishes and passed appetizers that reflect the Louisiana culture. The food is prepared in house by our staff and served to your guests throughout the entire length of your event.
The Fleur de Lis Grand Wedding Menu
We believe that every aspect of your night with us should be unmatched. Our staff is constantly experimenting with new items and flavors to add to the menu. Due to our constant evolution as a company, not every item listed below will be served. But fear not, it’s not because we subtract, it’s because we upgrade and improve. Our latest list will always be one email request away.
Traditional reception facilities offer fixed packages with long lists, but limited numbers of hors d’ oeuvres to be picked. What good is a list of 25 when you only get 5? On the contrary, our mission is to cater to each guest individually. We also know you don’t know what everyone likes, but we do.
Furthermore, we understand that our food is a direct reflection upon our business and we diligently strive to build and maintain our reputable name. To achieve this goal, we first provide the entire list below and second continue to make improvements to it.
This menu was specifically developed to obtain the satisfaction of the most diverse groups. We pass an impressive combination of not only local favorites, including our own original creations, but dishes that we have found all around the world. Due to our elaborate variety, every guest is guaranteed to find a favorite by night’s end. We will continue to pass our savory hors d’ oeuvres throughout the entire night. Traditional receptions provide hors d’ oeuvres service for the first hour of the event. However, as the evening becomes filled with drinking and dancing, many of your guests will work up an appetite for more, so we are prepared even after serving the cake passing more right up to the end!
Our endless buffet includes main entrees: salad, cheese and vegetable trays, etc. Like our hors d’ oeuvres service, our buffet is open the entire event, not just after the special dances like traditional receptions. Your guests may approach the buffet at any time they please, avoiding the big lines created by announcing “your buffet is now open” after the last special dance. We also keep crowds manageable by creating a separate station for our soups; We all know it takes three hands to get soup while holding a buffet plate!
