It’s cost-friendly. Yes, you read that right. Working with your venue’s in-house catering service is actually less expensive than working with outside caterers. Just think of it: someone coming from the outside will tax you for transportation and for keeping the food warm on the road as well, while an in-house service will not have to tax you for that.
The food is fresh. And by “fresh” we mean “food that has just been prepared”. No matter how amazing an outside catering service may be, working with them automatically means that your food will go through the “transportation process”. This can alter both the appearance and the quality of the food – and it will never be as fresh as anything that is prepared in-house.
You don’t run out of food. What happens if your caterer runs out of a particular dish? Your guests would be disappointed. With an in-house caterer, that’s almost impossible to happen.
More time for the details. Outside caterers may feel that they are in a hurry to reach your venue and to place everything on the tables.
