Where is your wedding venue located?

Our venue’s location is at 1645 N Causeway Blvd., Mandeville, LA 70471, only a half-hour’s drive across the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway from downtown New Orleans. A short drive for your wedding guests traveling from New Orleans or Baton Rouge, we’re one of the best locally-owned New Orleans wedding venues.

What’s the payment plan for the entire bill? What forms of payment do you accept?

We require an initial deposit at the time of booking. After paying the deposit, we charge $500 a month until 14 days before the entire balance is due. Like most reputable wedding venues in New Orleans, we take multiple payment forms: cash, check, credit card, PayPal, and Venmo. If you pay with a credit card, we charge a 3.75% fee and pass along any additional expenses incurred with any other payment types.

Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and wedding party? 

Yes, we have rooms for you to get ready and do your hair and makeup. Our all-inclusive wedding venues New Orleans has “ready rooms” for your bridal party and groom’s party. 

Do you have catering services available for my wedding?

Yes, we have in-house catering services available for your wedding. At the Fleur de Lis Event Center, we provide you with a delectable menu of passed items, specialty stations, and a buffet that reflects Louisiana’s culture. The food is prepared in-house by our staff and served to your guests throughout the entire length of the event (no lines or waiting!). We believe that as one of the top-rated New Orleans wedding venues, we should strive to provide food that lives up to our reputable name.

What is your COVID policy?

We realize this is a stressful time to plan your wedding. Fleur De Lis will help put your mind at ease by continuously monitoring the shelter in place orders through the state of Louisiana’s website. We implement all cleaning and safety procedures that follow CDC guidelines for your protection and safety. For your convenience, we’ve added a virtual tour option for you to view from the comfort of your couch – one of the few wedding venues new Orleans offering this new feature.

Can I hire my own vendors, or do we need to stick to a preferred vendor list?

Yes, you may hire your own vendors, but we’re more than happy to assist you in picking the perfect vendors to bring your wedding vision to life. We won’t just send you a preferred vendors list like many other wedding venues New Orleans do. That’s because we don’t have a set-in-stone list – it continually changes because we have your best interest in mind, and if the vendor doesn’t treat you like a princess, they’re’ taken off of our list.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Total refund of any paid deposits is only refunded if we rebook the ballroom for the same day/time slot of the canceled event. We are known to be one of the more popular wedding venues in New Orleans, so it is not uncommon for us to rebook slots, but please be aware of this when booking.

What is the rental fee, and what do you include in that price?

The starting site fee for a wedding reception at our venue is $1,000. For a wedding ceremony, the starting site fee at our venue is $875. We base our price on demand, plus the cost of services provided. As one of the best wedding venues in New Orleans, we believe that you deserve the utmost service level, regardless of your budget. 

How many hours does the rental fee include, and is there an overtime fee if I stay longer?

We base our price on a three-hour event. We do, however, offer extra time in blocks of 30 minutes each. Since we are one of the more frequently booked wedding venues in New Orleans, check with us beforehand to see if we have extra time for your celebration available, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What is the starting price per person for bar service, and what do you include?

The starting price for bar service at our venue is $5 per person. Our bar service includes an open bar, bartenders, house liquor, signature cocktails, and a champagne toast if your party desires. We love designing new signature cocktails or finding a way to provide one of your favorite beverages, so be sure to ask us if you have any special requests. When touring
