The Wedding Decision:

Brides start planning for their weddings as little girls.  They play wedding dress-up, look at bridal magazines, and imagine how they will look and in their wedding dress.  When that long awaited day in a girl’s life approaches, the number of important decisions increases along with stress levels.  Many decisions such as the venue, cake, flowers, photographer, videographer, rehearsal dinner, and more need to be made.  Which is the most important?  Which, if not done with careful consideration, may cause problems on your special day?  Imagine that your cake looks and tastes average.   Is it the end of the world?  Imagine the flowers aren’t arranged just like you pictured it.  Is the day lost?  Maybe the photographer or videographer is late.  Is the day ruined?

All of these decisions are important, but only one, if done without care, can have negative, long term effects.  Drum roll please!  The most important decision is choosing the man you will be spending the rest of your life with.  Often during the wedding preparations, we forget to reflect upon the life that will come after the party is over.  Since the beginning of recorded history, the wedding celebration has been the most important event in our lives.  We leave our family and begin a new one.
