Love is in the air at the Fleur de Lis!
Another beautiful wedding hosted by the Fleur de Lis Event Center tonight! Mary Beth Stagni became Mrs. Neil Smith Jr. in our large courtyard at 7pm on October 3,2015. The newly weds were surrounded by their family and friends. They were introduced and then had their first dance to a beautiful rendition of So This Is Love – a song you may know from Disney’s Cinderella! After the groom and his mother shared a dance the father of the bride (known as the FOB in the wedding world) got on the mic to thank the crowd for coming to celebrate the marriage of his daughter and new son-in-law, to conclude his speech Mr. Keith Stagni announced that the dance floor would open in five minutes but first, some people had a special song prepared for Neil and Mary Beth! In a whirlwind Maroon 5’s Sugar started playing on the speakers while lots of their family members gathered on the dance floor to join Mr. Keith in performing a special choreographed dance for Mary Beth and Neil! Even grandma joined in on the dancing! The rest of the evening proved to be just as perfect – complete with great food (provided by the Fleur de Lis Event Center , of course!), a beautiful and delicious cake (from Zoey’s bakery), lots of dancing to great music, and tons of love! The couple plans to attend Scrapin’ the Coast in Biloxi this weekend where Neil will show off his old truck and Mary Beth can take her chances at hitting the jackpot in a nearby casino! Sounds like loads fun to us at the Fleur de Lis!
