Fleur de Lis Event Center implemented a comprehensive COVID-19 readiness and response plan as of March 12, 2020, to ensure guest and staff safety during events. This plan involved deep cleaning the facility, disinfecting high-touch areas like handrails and door handles, and requiring staff to wear gloves at all times. Fleur de Lis Event Center also provided extra bathroom supplies, encouraged hand washing, offered guests gloves on food service lines, and conducted temperature checks for staff using adult forehead thermometers. The venue committed to monitoring local, state, and federal guidelines while offering flexible options for event postponements to maintain magical service.
During this unsettling time, I wanted to share our plan, hopefully easing your mind as much as is possible.
On a brighter note, due to the overall capacity of Fleur de Lis Event Center to host events in the unlikely event, you need to postpone we have many options. While this situation is not ideal, we have a plan and will continue to provide the magical service you deserve.

We are currently in the process of a deep clean of the facility.
We have disinfected high-touch areas such as handrails, flat surfaces, and door handles with the latest and best cleaner to prevent COVID-19/Coronavirus and will continue to so for all events.
We have ordered extra bathroom supplies to ensure all bathroom remain stocked which includes all proper hand wash stations and will be encouraging hand washing.
We are requiring our staff to wear gloves at all times during events while advising any sick staff to stay home.
We will be offering all guests gloves on food service lines.
We have ordered Adult forehead thermometers for temperature checks of our staff and may extend this to guests if determined necessary.
We are monitoring local, state, and federal guidelines as well as industry best practices to stay updated.
