First, your guests will enter. Some brides choose to have a seating arrangement for their ceremony while others allow guests to sit wherever they want. In the end, this is your decision, but do consider the pros and cons of every option.
The groom and the officiant usually enter from a side door and take their places at the altar (or the spot where the marriage will be officiated in case you don’t plan on having a religious wedding ceremony).
Following this, the bridal party and the groomsmen will walk down the aisle. Some brides choose to have their groomsmen walk down the aisle alone, with the groom, to escort him to the altar. However, in most of the cases groomsmen and bridesmaids walk down the aisle together (because this way, the bridesmaids will be escorted too).
The last pair to walk down the aisle is the Maid of Honor, escorted by the Best Man. Following this, the ring bearer and the flower girl will walk down the aisle as well.
The bride and her escort are the ones to walk down the aisle (and they usually wait a moment after the flower girl so that they can increase the “suspense”).
The wedding ceremony will proceed as follows: the officiant will make some opening remarks (which may or may not include remarks about the importance of marriage and the duties each of the spouses has to fulfill), then the vows and the rings will be exchanged, the marriage will be pronounced, the couple will kiss and the officiant will make the final remarks. The ceremony ends with a “recessional” where the guests and the newlyweds leave the ceremony site.
