As our communities are affected by the coronavirus, our work at the Fleur de Lis Event Center continues in support of each of you, so please let me know how I can help ease any concerns.
It may sound crazy, but I view each of you as shareholders in Fleur de Lis Event Center’s future and I want to assure you that the future is bright.  As many already have learned, I offered to “Move and Keep” all our events planned before 5/31/20.  Which means they were given the option to secure a new date until the end of September while keeping the original date in case things improve.  I shared this idea nationally and it has taken off around the country with other venues.
I feel so blessed to report all our events except for a few small school events planned during the school shut down have happily taken the offer.
In times like these, we need to continue to search for positive/funny things, so I wanted to share a few.
A young man upon finding out his prom was cancelled on the day of prom asked, “Does this mean I have to ask my date again?!!”
While on a call with a groom running through available dates, I said July 11th his reply “Did you say 7/11?  Book it, that’s the day we first met, it was meant to be”.  I asked “do you want to talk to the bride”, he said, “nope it is meant to be, she will be so happy”.
Fear is dangerous but I am always reminded it’s an acronym for.
False
Evidence
Appearing
Real

We will get past this together!  I am here for each of you, let me know if I can help.
